Aim: Efficient, properly-designed gear reducer.
Gear reducers are very plain projects. Standard parts – bearings, seals, screws, nuts, etc. should be present at every stage of calculations. There are many engineering toolboxes, which help to choose right parameters, which were not given by client. I prefer to use MIT calc plug-in for excel, to calculate gears step-by-step or to perform FEM analysis.
